Gavin Hodge is a producer, director and cameraman. After running a creatively successful Film & TV workshop in the London area and making the first 1-hr “Scratch Video” piece commissioned by Channel 4, he moved to Berlin in 1988 to make a film about the German Dada artist John Heartfield, which won several international prizes. Seeing no reason to return to Margaret Thatcher’s UK, Gavin has been living in Berlin for 30 years – the past 16 of which he has worked mainly for major US production companies, Creative Differences being his main and favourite client.
