Dave Harding
Dave Harding is an enthusiastic “rough and ready” producer of the first order. Launching his professional career as a congressional correspondent and reporting from Washington, D.C. during the Carter administration, Dave was soon eager to trade the soul crushing politics of the early ‘80s for “show business.” He joined the Gibson Guitar Company as a video producer, moved to Nashville, and began producing videos and delivering one of a kind guitars to blues legends, rock stars, country royalty and jazz artists. Dave moved to Los Angeles and helped develop and sold “It’s Showtime At The Apollo” with a pal from Northwestern University and produced the Pilot and the first 6 years of the series 20 year run. But then, basic cable was booming and Dave joined Termite Art Productions as Employee #1. His work with Termite Art, Creative Differences and Lionsgate Television includes “The U.S. vs John Lennon”, “Leonard Cohen: I’m Your Man” and exploring the “Dark Secrets of the Lusitania.” Recently, Dave has produced feature docs and high profile TV specials, with recent work including “I Hope You Dance”, “Dick Cavett’s Watergate”, “Chasing Trane: The John Coltrane Documentary”, “This Is Bob Hope…” for American Masters, and The Sergio Mendes Project, currently in post production.
