Amy Briamonte
Amy Briamonte is a writer and producer of theatrical and television documentaries. She got her start working in the Brill Building cutting rooms of Paul Schrader, Woody Allen and Brian De Palma before becoming a production executive focusing on nonfiction specials at A&E and Bravo. Since 2000, she’s been an independent writer/producer covering nature, history, and true crime. Her work has appeared on Discovery, ID, National Geographic, A&E, History, HBO and CTV. At Creative Differences, Amy enjoyed the opportunity to co-produce Werner Herzog’s CAVE OF FORGOTTEN DREAMS, INTO THE ABYSS and ON DEATH ROW, as well as Erik Nelson’s A GRAY STATE, DREAMS WITH SHARP TEETH and 9/10 THE FINAL HOURS. Despite these gloomy titles, Amy maintains she’s a genuinely upbeat person. Current projects include THE TORCH, a feature documentary on guitar legend Buddy Guy, for IFC FILMS, and THE UNFORGOTTEN for ID.
